我一直以为《We Belong Together》才是Mariah Carey最经典的作品，我个人感觉这首歌比《Hero》还要动听，尽管没能完全展现“花蝴蝶”的海豚音，却词曲都很美，这种讲述故事的歌曲我个人也比较偏向。

这首歌曲特别送给我的朋友HaveF。

不过以前一直没有看过这首歌曲的MV，今日一见，惊讶发现，这不是《越狱》的男主角温特沃什·米勒Wentworth Miller么？真是有点惊喜，尽管我早就不看《越狱》了。我更喜欢的是2006第48届格莱美的现场版，玛丽亚凯莉的演唱几乎完美，歌曲本身也接近完美。可惜的是虽然Mariah Carey毫无悬念的拿到了R&B的三个奖项，却不敌U2的《Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own》没能获得最佳单曲奖，不敌Green Day的《Boulevard Of Broken Dreams》没能获得最佳唱片奖，专辑《The Emancipation Of Mimi》也不敌U2的《How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb》没能获得最佳专辑奖。

其中最佳单曲最为可惜。几乎是所有人都看好 Mariah Carey的获奖。甚至在宣布获奖之后，现场响起的是《We Belong Together》的声音，过了几秒钟估计是工作人员发现了错误，又改成了真正获奖的《Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own》。
